About the Doctor


Dr. Alina Cordoves-Nodal obtained her Medical Degree in 1983 from CETEC University. In 1989 she did an Internship in Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 1992 she completed the Psychiatric Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She participated in the fellowship program of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Maryland School of Medicine and also served as Chief Resident of the Child and Adolescent Division at The Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital, in Maryland. Dr. Cordoves-Nodal has served as Medical Director at several Medical Health Institutes. She was the psychiatrist in charge of the Children Crisis Center at Citrus Mental Health Network for 7 years. Dr. Cordoves-Nodal has been appointed at different psychiatric hospitals including Palmetto General Hospital, Southern Winds Hospital and Taylord Manner Hospital.
